It’s been awhile…but more to work on means less posts. Or maybe it should mean more? Summer session for school has been done for about 2 weeks and I have a lot of work relating to that to post.  More recently- selfishmedia has been involved with trying to make sense of all the RSS feeds floating around.  These are a few of the more interesting screenshots taken from a program developed in flash that posts RSS feeds on top of one another.  Still under development, but you can see the text manipulation.  The Twitter feeds go really well with the various news RSS don’t they?

The permanent housing for finished projects is up at: www.selfishmedia.org; The CSS is angry at our overseas development team at the moment, so there are still bugs to work out.

“Creating a Machine”-Selfish Media is always looking into other means of income.  Expanding the product line, so to speak.  Here we are hard at work producing designs for a machine that injects late 1800’s fashionable gentlemen, with a protein fluid made out of 1800’s fashionable gentlemen. The machine itself does not cause excess pollution either, as it runs on 1800’s fashionable gentlemen.

Postcard project. Handmade postcards made entirely out of “junk mail.” To thank the companies circulating them to my house (even upon requests, made personally, to cease doing so), I decided to send them thank you postcards.

Still more. Several major streets and avenues helped spread the word. Process is the content.

A propaganda project in Minneapolis. A collaboration with a few other artists, each doing our own interpretation of phrases collected from asking questions of people on the street. Then, creating propaganda with the only true meaning being of process and that being the ultimate content rather than the imagery created.

The tumblr will be a place for frequented updates on projects. The final results will be more likely posted onto the selfishmedia website.
